I was riding and I ran into friend of mine from the early
70's. He let me ride his Norton 750 Chopper when I was
16 years old. And I dropped the bike after 20 yards.
My friend didn't get mad at me (I would have!).
Anyway, payback time, I was riding the Savage in his
neighborhood. He was cutting grass on his riding lawn
mower. I stop, we chat, and I ask him if he would like
to take a ride on the bike.
He jumped on, and said "it's been awhile," and rode off
I sat by his house, he came by and said that was fun, can I take
her for another round, "of course," he rode for awhile, while I sat
there looking at neighbors thinking I am up to no good,
and he came back, happy as heck.
My thoughts were when he was riding, man the bike might
be small but it is good looking, my other thought, what a nice
way to meet an old friend. He thanked me profusely, and I feel
he told all of his about the event.
The moral (and this aint no story) bikes are fun, and the Savage
is fun.
